EPISODE 55

Columbo Villains - Wayne Jennings

Last Words to Columbo: "A label? How ridiculous can you get?"

In "Murder in Malibu", Theresa Goren, the author of romantic novels, has come to a realization that her fiancé, Wayne Jennings (played by Andrew Stevens), is only interested in her wealth and not her. This has led to the cancellation of their impending wedding and shattered any prospects Jennings had of accessing her money. After Goren's untimely demise, Jennings becomes a prime suspect in the investigation, but subsequent evidence seems to exonerate him. However, Lieutenant Columbo remains vigilant as he observes Jennings taking a keen interest in Goren's sister, causing him to question Jennings' innocence.
